About the position
Culpepper & Associates Security Services, Inc. is seeking part-time Security Officers for immediate hire at the Riverside Cemetery in California. This role is crucial in maintaining the security and safety of the cemetery, its staff, and its visitors. The Security Officers will serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on federal property, ensuring a peaceful environment for all. The position requires individuals who are enthusiastic and committed to providing exceptional service while upholding the highest standards of personal and uniform appearance. Security Officers will be responsible for monitoring the premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. They will also interact with the public, providing assistance and information as needed, and ensuring compliance with all security protocols and regulations. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in customer service, military, or law enforcement, who are looking to contribute positively to their community while working in a supportive and diverse environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the security and safety of the cemetery, its staff, and its visitors.
- Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on federal property.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents or emergencies as they arise.
- Interact with the public, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and regulations.
- Maintain personal and uniform appearance standards at all times.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Guard Card registered with BSIS.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of physical, drug/alcohol screening, and a comprehensive background investigation is necessary - no felony convictions.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in contract, proprietary, or military/law enforcement roles is preferred.
