The Security Officer at St. Rose Hospital is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol hospital premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Write daily activity reports and other job-related documentation.
- Utilize CCTV for surveillance and monitoring of hospital areas.
- Assist patients and visitors with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in and lead committee meetings as required.
- Identify potential security threats and implement countermeasures.
Requirements
- Active CA licensure as a security guard with the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of hospital security or related experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
