Responsibilities

• Support the Administration of Baptist Health South Florida in maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure the peaceful and orderly operation of business throughout all entities serviced.
• Complete the BHSF security training program and any supplemental training as required.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and emergencies as they arise.
• Provide assistance and support to patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of security, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Completion of BHSF security training program before the end of the probationary period.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in law enforcement or military service is desired.
