About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred for Security Guard.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required for Security/Medical Specialist.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• American Heart Association First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle With Care certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Current North Carolina Nursing Assistant or EMT licensure required for Security/Medical Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive monitoring of security threats.
• Respond timely to potential and actual security incidents.
• Investigate and manage all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency preparedness plans.
• Facilitate planned drills and simulations.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.
