About the position

The Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, monitoring for suspicious activities, and reporting any unsafe or criminal acts. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and provides opportunities for career advancement within a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facilities they protect.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
• Work for multiple clients at multiple locations, covering special projects, call offs, vacations, and open shifts.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Utilize intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• For driving positions, must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen as a condition of employment.
