About the position
As a Security Officer Rover - Warehouse at Allied Universal®, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding clients across various industries, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government. This position offers an amazing opportunity for full-time employment, with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the premises. Your duties will include carrying out safety and security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when necessary. You will conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, ensuring a secure environment for both clients and employees. The working conditions may vary depending on the client site, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to security management.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by implementing safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Security License D License is required.
- Valid Driver's License is necessary for driving positions.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in customer service and radio communication are essential.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
