About the position
GardaWorld is hiring for the position of Security Officer - Warehouse Supervisor at a fulfillment center in Pflugerville, TX. This role offers diverse work assignments and flexible schedules, with a focus on delivering world-class security services. The compensation for this position starts at $20.00 per hour, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service as a top priority
- Handle inquiries made by the public and clients
- Conduct screenings of persons upon entry to the facility
- Control, regulate, and direct pedestrian traffic
- Perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio)
- Prepare clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols when warranted
- Monitor and manage the Security/Front Desk
- Give directions to guests and use a computer visitor management system
- Control access and ensure only authorized personnel are given access to the site
- Conduct camera and alarm surveillance
- Assist Operations Management in emergencies and contact police when necessary
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- Texas security license or ability to obtain one
- CPR certification or ability to obtain one
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
