About The Position
The Security position at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, Kansas, is a full-time role scheduled for the night shift from 8 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. This includes proactive monitoring and timely responses to potential or actual security threats, investigating and managing security incidents, and maintaining knowledge of policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency preparedness plans. The role may also involve facilitating planned drills and simulations, training staff on emergency management processes, and providing assistance to promote safety within the campus area.
