About the position

The Security Officer at Margaritaville Beach Resort is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members while securing the hotel property. This role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to emergencies, promoting safety practices, and assisting guests to enhance their experience. The position is integral to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols of the hotel and property to identify safety risks and security threats.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including safety hazards and medical emergencies.
  • Promote safe work practices among associates and guests.
  • Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents and document findings accurately.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and seek satisfactory resolutions.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4 years' experience in hotel/resort security or a related professional area.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate.
  • AED Certification.
