This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe environment and providing excellent customer service. The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security or law enforcement is preferred. Must be 21+ years of age, to obtain Gaming Registration and TAM card. Proven experience in a security-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions. Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Pre-employment requirements: drug test screening (hair and urine) Responsibilities : Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain a visible presence and deter potential security threats. Respond to and investigate disturbances, complaints, and security-related incidents, such as thefts, accidents, or medical emergencies, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and necessary authorities are notified. Provide a welcoming and helpful presence to guests, ensuring their safety and addressing any security concerns or inquiries they may have. Prepare accurate incident reports, documenting all security-related activities, including observations, investigations, and interventions.
