About the position

The Security Officer position at New Era Security Services involves providing dedicated security services in a residential community gatehouse. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients.
• Follow company post orders and site-specific post orders, as well as emergency response post orders.
• Report and respond to incidents.
• Manage and work with CCTV and LPR cameras.
• Write digital incident reports.
• Keep up to date daily activity logs either written or typed.
• Display excellent communication skills.
• Announce visitors to residents.
• Report, as needed, to New Era management and property management and board members.
• Display a supplied name tag at all times during your shift.
• Be presentable and in full uniform at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid New York state security guard license with a verifiable UID.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed positions and at least 21 years of age for driving positions.
• Experience in customer service.
