About the position

The Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the property, providing reassurance to residents and guests through vigilant monitoring and response to emergencies. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage security systems and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
• Accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Following safety procedures and strive to maintain a safe work environment.
• Patrol, walk property, and gatehouse.
• Report all property violations.

Requirements

• Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.
• Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully with residents and team.
• Possess and maintain a Class D Security license.
• Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
