About the position
The Security Officer at Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of the casino and its guests. This role involves maintaining order, assisting guests and employees, and performing command center functions under general supervision. The Security Officer is expected to deliver exceptional service, respond to incidents, and uphold security standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional internal and external guest service.
- Assist patrons and employees during critical incidents.
- Maintain security related MGC standards and report violations.
- Respond to incidents where physical force may be required.
- Conduct and document investigations when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during stress.
- Must be able to physically walk and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Must have two years of customer service experience or equivalent.
