About The Position

TidalHealth is seeking a Security Guard responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment in and around the hospital buildings and grounds. This role is crucial for the protection of patients, employees, visitors, and their property. The Security Guard will carry out the program of the Medical Center, ensuring safety and security at all times.

Requirements

• Must complete 80 hours of training mandated by the Maryland State Police within one year of hire.
• Must be commissioned as a Special Police Officer in Maryland within one year of hire.
• 12 hours of in-service training mandated by Maryland State Police every 2 years before renewal.
• High School Graduate or G.E.D.
• One-year prior experience in law enforcement, fire or security related job preferred.
• Must successfully undergo a comprehensive background and character investigation.
• Valid driver's license and verification of insurability under Peninsula Regional Medical Center's automobile insurance plan.
• American Heart CPR certification.
