About the position

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, and products by performing various security-related duties. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting rounds, and enforcing security policies to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Checks all boxes, packages, bags, containers, and the likes that are entering and leaving the property.
• Conducts security rounds throughout the facility.
• Writes reports on security activities and incidents.
• Enforces company policies and procedures related to security.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior uniformed security experience preferred.
• Ability to spend the majority of the workday standing and walking.
• Availability to work various days of the week and times of day preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions while making outside rounds.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
