SECURITY OFFICER

About the position

United Security, Inc. is seeking high-level security officers for a pharmaceutical site. The role involves performing security patrols, maintaining access control, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors. Security officers are expected to monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious activity.
• Manage visitor identification verification and badge issuance to ensure unauthorized persons do not gain access to the premises.
• Conduct security patrols by foot and/or vehicle.
• Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols.
• Complete daily security reports, incident reports, and security logs.
• Enforce safety protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned and/or required by contract.

Requirements

• Two years of military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.
• Must have hospital or concierge security experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently.
