About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a vital role in ensuring the protection of people and property. You will conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security, monitor CCTV cameras, and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents. Enforcing access control procedures and verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises is also a key responsibility. In case of alarms and emergencies, you will respond promptly, providing assistance as needed. Additionally, you will conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents, documenting findings and reporting to management. Collaboration with law enforcement agencies may be necessary in certain situations. Excellent customer service is essential, as you will assist visitors and address their inquiries or concerns. Implementing loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property is also part of your duties. In emergency situations, you will administer first aid or CPR until medical professionals arrive. Maintaining accurate records of security-related activities is crucial for this role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferred
  • Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
  • Possess a valid security certificate or willing to obtain one
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with first aid and CPR protocols
  • Strong surveillance skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving abilities
