About the position

The Security Operations Assistant Manager at Kingsley Security plays a crucial role in supporting the operations team to maintain high security standards across luxury residential properties. This position involves overseeing staff coordination, conducting property checks, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including overnight shifts and weekends, to effectively manage security operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in setting up security services for new properties, ensuring all protocols and standards are met.
  • Assist in managing daily and weekly schedules for security personnel, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
  • Communicate shift assignments and expectations to guards; handle last-minute scheduling adjustments as needed.
  • Fill in for security shifts on an as-needed basis, particularly in emergency situations or during staffing shortages.
  • Ensure guards are equipped with all necessary information and resources for their assignments, and verify that uniforms and equipment are compliant with company standards.
  • Conduct unannounced overnight visits to assigned properties to monitor guard performance, adherence to protocols, and property security.
  • Ensure all guards are trained on site-specific protocols, emergency procedures, and client expectations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of incident logs, patrol logs, and TOR tag reports for quality control and compliance.
  • Manage and train security staff to ensure compliance with established protocols and standards.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a security management role or related field; experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and crisis response strategies.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Valid security license (where applicable).
  • Reliable transportation for site visits and emergency coverage.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
