About the position

Huntington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Security Operations Center Analyst. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of the organization by monitoring and responding to security-related events. The Security Operations Center Analyst will report directly to the Security Operations Center Senior and will take tactical direction from the Security Operations Center Management. The primary responsibilities include answering incoming calls regarding suspicious activities and security-related events, creating reports, and maintaining detailed logs of all calls and activities. The analyst will also be responsible for contacting relevant security and non-security colleagues to coordinate responses or seek assistance in resolving issues. Additionally, the role involves monitoring complex alarm and surveillance systems and coordinating appropriate responses to alerts. The analyst may also be assigned other duties as necessary to support the security operations of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls regarding suspicious activity and/or security related events.
• Create reports and maintain detailed logs of all calls and activities.
• Contact relevant security and non-security colleagues to coordinate response or for assistance resolving issues.
• Monitor complex alarm and surveillance systems and coordinate appropriate response to alerts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 year of experience either in an emergency call center or security experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Technology experience (i.e. MS Office)
• Experience working in a dispatch or alarm monitoring center
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Work effectively within a high intensity environment.
