Security Operations Center Analyst

RMC is hiring a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst to support one of our customers in Lexington Park, MD. The selected applicant will perform a variety of SOC activities including but not limited to: * Monitoring the security posture of the Network and attached systems across multiple boundaries using various security tools available to the team. * Performing technical analysis of threats, vulnerabilities and exploits to SOC Managers and Information Assurance Officers. * Performing Log analysis for various operating system and application platforms. * Reporting on metrics from various SIEM products. * Assisting in configuring and troubleshooting various SOC tools, access policies, and compliance measures. * Use standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident detection, response, and forensic analysist duties and provide updates as needed.
