About the position

The Security Operations Center Lead at Trulieve is responsible for overseeing all internal security operations and managing personnel within the Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves providing exceptional security customer service, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining communication regarding security incidents and threats. The SOC Lead will work closely with the team to identify, detect, and respond to security events, while also participating in investigations as needed. The position requires a strong understanding of physical security, network awareness, and endpoint security, along with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert on all SOC matters, including monitoring and response to facilities and properties.
  • Provide partner and client intelligence, operations, and communication on time-sensitive security tactics for strategic executive management.
  • Ensure SOC staff comply with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, corporate policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Promote an environment of professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement to meet operational goals.
  • Develop and maintain a highly qualified and motivated SOC staff that supports the overall business mission.
  • Create processes, collect and assess incident reports, and develop high liability communication plans.
  • Create compliance reports to support the SOC's audit process and measure performance metrics.
  • Plan responses to company asset loss, facility response, damage, theft, etc.
  • Supervise each region from the SOC, identifying trends, concerns, or recommendations for real-time threat management.
  • Review site inspections and reports to identify security threats or risks.
  • Manage and support each region, leveraging resources and relationships to mitigate potential threats.
  • Conduct training with regional security supervisors to ensure awareness of outcomes and procedures.
  • Maintain communication and partnership with Corporate/Operations Management.
  • Manage regular audits to evaluate SOC performance and established SOPs.
  • Plan, communicate, and train employees on emergency plans.
  • Coordinate security exercises with each Director of Security.
  • Monitor and report on risks to leadership and employees.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of SOC management work experience.
  • 3 or more years in a Security Operations environment.
  • Experience in management, IT Security, operations, ITIL framework, and agile project management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Experience managing a diverse group of technologically oriented members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience in security.
  • Proven ability to manage all operations, maintenance, and functions of the Security Policy.
  • Broad understanding of Cyber Security and Network.
