The Security Operations Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations team at a client site, developing security strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the security team, ensuring effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
- Manage threat intelligence initiatives to proactively identify potential risks and mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards by conducting audits and assessments.
- Provide training and support for staff on security best practices.
- Utilize tools to gather open-source intel and respond to alarms and incidents.
- Maintain documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Security Operation Center supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge in common SOC software/systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations quickly.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively.
