About the position

We focus on all aspects of internal infrastructure services from real estate site selection, facilities management, and physical security to managing relationships with Firm travel partners and event planning. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of PwC US Firm's Global Security Operations Center and strategy.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive GSOC strategy aligned with the Firm's objectives and risk profile.
  • Manage the strategic direction and growth of the Security Operations Centers, including a staff of seven who monitor and respond to incidents.
  • Act as the liaison to the Firm's crisis management leader.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction on security policies, procedures, and industry-leading practices to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
  • Present with cross-functional teams to identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends, and develop proactive measures to address them.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to stay informed about security threats and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement and develop action plans to address findings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of security operations and processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on security risks and promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on security metrics, incidents, and trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in security operations and incorporate them into the Firm's security strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in security operations, risk management, or related field.
  • Certification(s) Preferred: CPP, PSP, CISSP.
  • Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with a proven record of success directing efforts in security operations.
  • Possessing enhanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate security risks.
  • Exhibiting a proven track record of leadership and success in global security operations, risk management, or related field.
  • Full proficiency in English and Spanish.
