About the position

The Security Representative Senior at Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS) is responsible for the integration and execution of contractor and government security operations within the Special Access Program (SAP) environment. This role involves safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring a secure operating environment for military operations, particularly at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, Arizona. The position requires a thorough understanding of security policies and procedures, as well as the ability to interact professionally with military personnel and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and execute contractor and government security operations.
  • Prepare, maintain, and enforce security policy and procedures within the Special Program environment.
  • Oversee visitor access and act as the first line of security defense at the Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).
  • Handle and store classified documents and electronic media, and support access control procedures.
  • Perform random searches, entry and exit inspections, and conduct self-inspections.
  • Prepare for customer inspections and assist in security investigations.
  • Communicate and interact professionally during the enforcement of security policy and procedures.
  • Support first, second, or third shift operations, including weekends as required.

Requirements

  • Current Secret security clearance with an investigation within 6 years or confirmed enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance as required.
  • Familiarity with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of F-35 program security requirements.
  • Experience working with SAP security requirements in a fighter squadron SAP facility.
  • Experience working in a military environment, particularly with the United States Marine Corps.
  • Prior experience teaching or instructing.
  • Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with initiative.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
