About the position

The Security Operations Manager at DSI Security Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality security services to a portfolio of clients. This role involves managing multiple teams of Security Officers and Supervisors, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining effective communication with clients and management. The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and operational excellence within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with clients to ensure high-quality security services.
• Manage multiple teams of Security Officers and Site/Shift Supervisors.
• Handle hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development of staff.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Comply with DSI and client requirements and specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and familiarize with safety procedures and DSI's safety manual.
• Communicate with Corporate and Branch management regarding scheduling, staffing, and record keeping.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in supervisory and management roles.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
