About the position

The Security Operations Manager at GardaWorld is responsible for overseeing the security services provided to clients in Dayton, OH. This role serves as a liaison between the organization and its customers, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with contracts. The manager will supervise security personnel, maintain client relationships, and ensure operational efficiency within the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facilities and ensure service is of the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees, serving as the liaison between GardaWorld, clients, and assigned staff.
  • Meet regularly with clients to address problems, offer solutions, provide status updates, communicate needs, and ensure contract compliance and complete customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the accounts.
  • Routinely visit and inspect supervisors and security officers assigned to accounts, reviewing reports, providing training & guidance, evaluating proficiency, and ensuring compliance with contract specifications and GardaWorld policy.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of post specifications, post orders, instructions, patrol areas, emergency procedures, staffing requirements, client policies, and other necessary information for effective operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, budgets, payroll, and other reports.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations in assigned accounts.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all contracts and collective bargaining agreements in assigned accounts.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Ensure progressive discipline is followed on all corrective actions.
  • Provide rapid response in critical situations.

Requirements

  • A college degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year management experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Prior experience in security is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Commercial real estate experience preferred.
