About The Position

The Security Operations Manager at Sunstates Security is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of contract sites in the Dallas region. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining security and safety standards in alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate will lead a team, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall administration of the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• 5 or more years of management and leadership experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong portfolio management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Texas Level III or Level IV Security License.
• Ability to travel and visit site locations regularly in the Dallas area.
• Flexibility to be on call during all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of contract sites including security personnel management and customer service.
• Train, develop, and motivate supervisory staff to effectively oversee site security operations.
• Supervise Site Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversee the employee onboarding process including interviewing, training, and licensure.
• Train subordinate supervisors on software systems and company policies, ensuring consistency in practice.
• Coordinate operational functions such as payroll, billing, staffing, and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits and audits as part of the Quality Assurance program.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations to set regional goals and objectives.
• Work with sales and marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.
