About the position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of security services within a designated area. This role involves managing field staff, ensuring proper training, and maintaining high service standards. The Operations Manager acts as a liaison between clients and security personnel, focusing on effective communication and problem resolution to foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operations in a designated geography.
• Supervise field staff and ensure they are trained and perform duties as per Post Orders.
• Maintain regular communication with Security Professionals to resolve training and morale issues.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of post specifications, orders, and emergency procedures.
• Supervise the security service provided to facilities, ensuring high standards.
• Conduct disciplinary and counseling sessions with Security Professionals as needed.
• Create and manage post schedules in WhenIWork to ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintain and publish weekly Open Post List and manage job openings with Hiring Assistants.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees.
• Participate in recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of staff.
• Maintain high employee morale and low turnover through effective communication.
• Enforce post-specific policies and procedures through communication and training.
• Prepare and run required reports and address discrepancies or operational issues.

Requirements

• Valid Guard Card license (preferred).
• Experience in security operations.
• Driver's License (required).

Nice-to-haves
