About the position

The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily security activities and ensuring operational readiness for assigned accounts. This role involves managing security personnel, responding to client inquiries, and promoting safe work practices while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead response to emergency situations
• Promote safe work practices for staff
• Interface with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and operational readiness
• Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Recruit, interview, and assist in onboarding and licensing guards
• Monitor and develop staff performance, including supervision and performance evaluations
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents and write reports
• Track, produce, and review weekly payroll
• Document human resource, payroll, and union issues
• Facilitate training for CPR/First Aid/AED certifications
• Maintain accurate timekeeping systems and records for staff
• Procure and maintain uniforms and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• 3-5 years of civilian law enforcement, private or corporate security, or military experience
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice-to-haves

• Criminal Justice Degree or law enforcement related degree, Associate's or higher
• Graduate of a law enforcement training academy
• 3 years of customer service experience
