About The Position

The Security Operations Manager at Expedia Group is responsible for overseeing the Physical Security team, focusing on intelligence work, policy development, and corporate security functions. This role requires a strong analytical background to produce actionable intelligence reports and threat assessments, ensuring the safety of executives and business operations. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of work experience in analytical, investigative, and/or executive protection disciplines.
• Proven intelligence monitoring, investigation, reporting, and analysis skills.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with highly confidential information.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function with minimal supervision in ambiguous situations.
• Experience working in both individual and team environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of policies, plans, and procedures related to protective intelligence, investigations, risk assessment, executive protection, and vendor management.
• Produce timely, useful, actionable, and tailored intelligence reports and threat assessments.
• Analyze and assess risks and threats to the corporation and executives across the organization.
• Monitor all-source information to proactively identify and assess threats that could impact the company's global executives and business operations.
• Perform investigations into sourced data to understand potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts to the organization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and colleagues to support their needs and communicate security program objectives.
• Engage respectfully and collaboratively with all partners and colleagues, contributing to a positive team culture.
