Security Operations Manager

About the position

The Security Operations Manager at Johnson Controls is responsible for overseeing the installation and coordination of security and life safety systems for business customers. This role involves planning, scheduling, and supervising installations while ensuring that all equipment is procured and that associates are prepared for successful job performance. The position emphasizes maintaining technical knowledge and evaluating system performance to minimize malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, supervise and control installations of security and life safety systems.
• Confirm all equipment procurement for installations.
• Prepare progress reports, expense reports, and other related documents.
• Evaluate system performance and effectiveness to maintain and minimize equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain technical knowledge of current standards and new developments.
• Keep associates and customers informed of any industry changes.
• Develop workforce size to efficiently accommodate subscriber-related workloads.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent 2-year electronic trade school training.
• Minimum 3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment installation experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
