About the position

The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing a segment of guarding operations at multiple sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with company policies. This role involves managing field supervisors and security personnel, conducting inspections, and maintaining communication with clients to address service expectations and operational issues. The position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to train and develop staff, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a shift and/or segment of guarding operations at multiple sites, supervising subordinate officers and staff.
  • Ensures service expectations are met through regular client contact and service quality evaluations.
  • Meets with line management and client representatives for status updates and problem resolution.
  • Coordinates orientation, training, and retention of staff, ensuring respectful treatment of all employees.
  • Maintains payroll records and reviews reports for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies among staff members.
  • Communicates with management regarding scheduling, staffing, and operational matters to ensure service delivery.
  • Assists in resolving legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and 2+ years of progressive supervisory and management experience.
  • Strong understanding of security operations and supervisory practices.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service background preferred.
