About the position

The Security Operations Project Manager at Marksman Security Corporation is responsible for overseeing security personnel, ensuring proper staffing, training, and motivation of officers. This role requires a relevant physical security background and involves managing site security operations, leading crisis management responses, and collaborating with clients to address security needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the security team, ensuring adherence to client security policies and procedures.
  • Lead vendor security team response for crisis management events across multiple accounts.
  • Ensure all vendor security staff are trained and knowledgeable to client standards when on post.
  • Provide clients with reports, briefings, and other requested information on a frequent or ad hoc basis.
  • Ensure that the security vendor team has the necessary tools and equipment to carry out their duties.
  • Schedule officers and handle payroll accurately on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with onsite clients on all operational security needs as identified.
  • Implement and ensure robust post and shift handover procedures.
  • Comply with site standardized guarding models, deploying additional resources only with prior client approval.
  • Implement and document an effective communications plan throughout all levels of the security team.
  • Ensure daily supervisory visits to assigned posts are occurring and documented accordingly.
  • Maintain confidentiality management and privacy standards in accordance with client and relevant legislation.
  • Direct an effective leadership team on site and assess the proficiency of the communication center team.

Requirements

  • OPOTA Certification required.
  • Relevant physical security background experience.
  • Significant scheduling experience.
  • Working knowledge of E-HUB and WINTEAM Software.
  • Leadership qualities including people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence key business partners.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
