About the position

The Residential Security Officer position in Newport Beach, CA, is a full-time role focused on providing personal security services to designated individuals and properties. The officer will utilize proactive and reactive security methodologies while working in a Security Operations Center, responding to alarms and emergency situations, and collaborating with the Executive Protection Team and Estate Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal security services to specific individuals, properties, offices, and designated assets.
• Conduct routine patrols to detect and deter security breaches.
• Observe, report, identify, and investigate all suspicious and unusual objects and activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Augment the Executive Protection team with relevant contextual information.
• Maintain peak physical condition to perform security duties at the highest level.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Work all shifts (day, swing, and graveyard) and all days (weekends and holidays).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A current California Guard Card
• A valid California Driver's License
• Three or more years in private security, personal protection, or equivalent military experience
• A current California Exposed Firearm Permit
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with security technologies, such as cameras, access control, sensors, and alarm systems.
• Basic computer knowledge.
