About the position

The Security Patrol Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated premises through vehicle patrols, responding to emergencies, and enforcing laws and regulations. This role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to handle various situations effectively while providing assistance to the public.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle patrols to ensure safety and security of the premises.
• Observe conditions in remote areas, parking lots, and the perimeter of the grounds.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence for incidents or crimes.
• Enforce laws, rules, and regulations to maintain order and prevent criminal activity.
• Remove trespassers from the premises in a professional manner.
• Assist the public by directing traffic and responding to inquiries.
• Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Present a professional image and maintain courteous interactions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 5 years.
• Unarmed Security Guard License or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in security is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
