About the position
Signal Security is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to work as a Patrol Officer, providing effective security solutions through visual deterrence and response to incidents. The role involves working overnight shifts, securing premises, and assisting residents, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Work overnight in a patrol vehicle to provide visual deterrent against theft, vandalism, and other crimes.
- Secure all access points on premises.
- Respond to requests to mitigate noise complaints and other property-specific violations.
- Assist residents with lockouts or escort them to vehicles.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to the job site.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service (1 year preferred).
- Experience in security (1 year preferred).
