Security Patrol Officer

About the position

The Security Patrol Officer is responsible for conducting foot and vehicle patrols in various high-value areas to ensure the security of property and residents. This role requires a high level of attentiveness to detail and safety, as well as effective communication and customer service skills. The officer will be expected to follow site-specific instructions and post orders while maintaining professionalism and organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and deliver various mobile security services while operating the company patrol vehicle.
• Write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift.
• Arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, and meet time commitments while following instructions and dress code.
• Interact with internal and external customers on site to cultivate a customer service relationship.
• Communicate with the Advanced Patrol Officer and/or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to report any customer or property-related information and concerns.
• Maintain responsibility for the assigned vehicle, including fueling, washing, and inspecting it during the shift.
• Care for any Signal equipment assigned during the shift, including radios, access keys/cards, and uniforms.
• Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor.
• Deescalate issues through professional communication in a prompt manner.
• Communicate with the Branch Patrol Supervisor to receive and disseminate information regarding client needs, route changes, and post order updates.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Complete training modules within the first month of employment.
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism at all times.
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
