About the position

The Security Portfolio Manager at Titan Security Group is responsible for overseeing the daily security operations at assigned client sites. This role involves managing a team of security personnel, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining effective relationships with clients and staff. The Portfolio Manager will also collaborate with the HR department to uphold best practices in service and personnel management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Security Officers, Site/Shift Supervisors, and Security Directors including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development.
  • Ensure high-quality security services are provided to protect people and property at client sites.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees.
  • Coordinate support services to meet financial and operational goals while providing quality customer service.
  • Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Conduct annual reviews of site staff and monitor staff performance, including disciplinary actions and performance appraisals.
  • Maintain personnel files and workforce management systems in collaboration with Account Managers and HR.
  • Support HR in involuntary terminations, exit interviews, and unemployment claims.
  • Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to staff and job applicants.
  • Compile and prepare reports related to personnel activities and account trends.
  • Track company equipment in the field and ensure compliance with policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of management experience in the security services industry with a large remote hourly workforce.
  • Working knowledge of security services operational functions.
  • Ability to obtain a valid PERC.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
