About the position

Mobile Communications America Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to support its growing Security division in Houston, TX. The role involves managing various security projects, collaborating with teams and customers, and providing technical sales support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and security systems, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects and prioritizing tasks for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring project progress.
• Offering solutions to resolve basic project issues with limited guidance.
• Managing project activities against schedule/milestones effectively.
• Developing reports for management review.
• Communicating and collaborating well with other teams and customers.
• Supporting the improvement of processes/procedures to drive project efficiency.
• Providing technical sales support to the security sales organization including proposal development.
• Assisting in the solution design and architecture design of building security systems.
• Conducting onsite assessments and managing the overall profit of all projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in the security field.
• 3-5 years experience in relevant technology Security alarm sub-systems and with pre-sales development of security projects.
• Certified in Amag, Lenel, Genetec, S2, Milestone, Exacg, Kantech, Pelco, and/or Avigilon, preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects and teams.
• Proficient with ERP systems and developing reports for management review.
• Experience with public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, or civil infrastructure construction.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP (Project Management Professional) highly desired or working towards PMP.
