About the position

The Security Project Manager at Jacobs will oversee various projects that impact corporate and business units, ensuring that municipal clients can operate safely and efficiently. This role involves managing project goals, timelines, and budgets while facilitating communication between clients and project teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, research, track, and report on initiatives under general guidance.
• Ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Governance and Standards.
• Assist with analysis, recommendations, and/or implementation of technical, procedure, and process enhancements.
• Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes effectively.
• Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and evaluate skills to define critical tasks and establish sequences of events.
• Monitor and maintain project budgets to ensure financial accountability.
• Evaluate and establish project goals, develop project plans, negotiate timelines and schedules, and monitor progress against the plan.
• Participate with Procurement in Vendor/Client negotiations.
• Manage interactions between customers and the project team.
• Facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members.

Requirements

• Analytical and evaluation skills to define critical tasks and produce project plans.
• Project management skills to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team efforts and communicate project objectives.
• Financial modeling skills to quantify costs and benefits of projects.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and applicable laws.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP in cost tracking and forecasting.
• PMP Certification.
