As a Facilities Security and Services Manager, you will be the primary provider of communications to staff, help manage the training and development of staff, assist in career development planning including responsibility for the motivation of staff to meet objectives, conduct formal performance evaluations of staff, and be accountable for the accomplishment of group objectives. In this role, you will manage and monitor the development, implementation, and operation of security-related programs, processes, personnel, costs, and data to mitigate risks and threats. You will create, manage, and analyze security procedures that are vital to access control, emergency management, and visitor management. Conducting physical security assessments and accomplishing emergency management planning and response will be key responsibilities to ensure effective response. You will operate and monitor equipment and systems, develop physical security controls, perform patrols, and participate in facility-level security assessments associated with threats, alarms, workplace violence, intrusions, hazardous materials, etc. Training personnel on security awareness, observing, collecting, and reporting on security-related incidents will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will manage and implement programs designed to supplement access control and prevent unauthorized access, as well as oversee, review, participate in, and manage programs designed to support foreign travelers and visitors.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Risk Management, including knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks.
  • Extensive experience in Conflict Management, with the ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts.
  • Extensive experience in Emergency Management, including knowledge of emergency management tools and techniques in a manufacturing organization.
  • Extensive experience in Plant Security, with knowledge of tools, techniques, and technologies associated with plant security.
  • Experience in personnel management and effective communication.
  • Development of management presentations.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A 4-year degree in a related field or extensive experience in Plant Security.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Availability to travel to local facilities in the Sanford, NC area.
