About the position

The Security Shift Supervisor at Allied Universal is responsible for overseeing security operations at a Corporate Headquarters on Long Island. This full-time position involves supervising staff, ensuring quality service delivery, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to manage both routine and crisis situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs in a neat, legible manner.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Minimum of 2 years security experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time and work outside in various weather conditions.
