About the position

The Professional Security Shift Supervisor at Allied Universal is responsible for supervising and coordinating quality security services during a specific shift at an assigned customer site. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience (if applicable).
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
