About the position

The Security Site Supervisor at GardaWorld is responsible for overseeing security operations at client sites, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships with both employees and clients. This role involves supervising security personnel, managing staffing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while responding to operational emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility.
  • Ensure service is of the highest standards, representing GardaWorld as a premier provider of security services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, payroll, and other reports.
  • Maintain operational logs, records, and post orders appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees, serving as a liaison between GardaWorld and the client.
  • Assist in the selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account.
  • Maintain a goal of zero safety incidents and manage a robust safety culture and program.
  • Review security officer schedules and staffing levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to operational emergencies and ensure timely communication and reporting.
  • Direct, supervise, and support shift officers.
  • Recommend and distribute rewards and recognition.
  • Responsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers.
  • Supervise and manage employees on your shift at the assigned job site.
  • Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
  • Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making in performing all duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Two years of management experience preferred.
  • Previous contract services, hospitality, military, or law enforcement experience is desirable.
  • CPP/PSP and other related certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance business considerations with people-oriented results.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay rate of $28.00 per hour.
  • Full-time position with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.
