About the position

The Security Solutions Team (SST) Manager at GardaWorld is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the management, supervision, and general operations of the Security Solutions Team, which includes the Badging and Reporting Office. This position requires active engagement in all business operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The SST Manager will serve as a crucial liaison between various functional area groups, clients, vendors, and customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all parties involved. In this role, the SST Manager will be tasked with developing training materials and implementing programs that facilitate effective change within the team. A deep understanding of each team member's roles and responsibilities is essential, as the manager will need to guide and support the team in achieving their objectives. Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the Security Solutions Team (Badging/Reporting Office).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between functional area groups, clients, vendors, and customers.
  • Develop training materials and implement programs for effective change.
  • Maintain an intricate working knowledge of all team members' roles and responsibilities.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
  • Operate in a high-stress environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize computer-aided programs for problem-solving and status reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Certification in computer programming and/or networking is preferred.
  • Four years of experience in a corporate environment focused on customer service, product management, and dynamic leadership.
  • Proven record of success in leading teams toward common goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve desired outcomes in workplace problem-solving.
  • Experience in operating under high-stress conditions while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in using computer-aided programs for status reports and timelines.
