About the position

The Security Supervisor at DSI Security Services is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. This role involves overseeing security operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires effective communication and the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Provide general security duties to clients.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI's safety manual.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting in all-weather elements.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Security License is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Ability to pass all required background and drug screenings.
• Supervisory experience in a customer service or security setting is required.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
