About the position
The Search Quality Rater position involves evaluating the relevance and usefulness of online websites and page quality. The role is crucial for assessing the accuracy, reliability, and quality of web pages according to Google's Search Quality Guidelines, ultimately enhancing the relevance of content displayed to users globally.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and quality of search results based on specific rating guidelines.
- Analyze web pages to ensure they meet user intent and search quality standards.
- Provide detailed feedback on website content quality, language, and user experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rating guidelines and best practices for evaluating search content.
- Complete tasks promptly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Strong experience as a Search Quality Rater
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess various content types for quality and relevance
- Significant experience in search quality rating
- In-depth understanding of EEAT, YMYL, MC, SC, and Needs Met concepts
- Familiarity with internet search and website evaluation methods
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow specific guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Understanding of current online trends, popular websites, and types of user search behavior.
