About the position
We are a new transport company seeking a professional dispatcher to manage logistics for our hotshot services. The role involves coordinating the transportation of cars and general freight, with the flexibility to work from home or ride along as a team driver. Training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics and dispatch operations for transporting cars and general freight.
- Coordinate with drivers and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
- Utilize multiple load boards to find and assign loads.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding their routes and schedules.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are on schedule.
Requirements
- Experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with load boards and freight logistics.
- Familiarity with hotshot trucking operations.
