About the position

Our law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to assist us with providing document drafting, case analysis, and case management for a rapidly growing influx of new clients. We are a mission-driven law firm that believes that legal services can be delivered in a way that is both affordable for our clients and profitable for our firm. We offer various legal solutions that are tailored to the legal needs of our clients, as well as their financial circumstances. We provide full and limited scope representation billed on a flat fee or hourly basis, and allow clients to pay a lower initial retainer, and then pay for their ongoing representation over time with automated weekly/bi-weekly and monthly payment plans. We are looking for a Paralegal that not only has experience in the practice of law but also sees value in our mission and approach to the practice of law, and will therefore be a natural fit to work with our firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of paralegal experience, excellent writing skills, and exceptional communication skills to interface with clients in a friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to track and manage case deadlines and tasks for a high number of clients are essential. The candidate should also possess a high level of ability to work independently, be skilled at conducting analysis of fact patterns and law in cases, and have efficient and effective document drafting skills. In-depth knowledge of local court filing procedures is required, and the candidate must be comfortable with technology as we utilize cloud-based practice management software and technology-based tools in our practice.

Requirements
