About the position
The position is for a part-time caregiver in a hybrid role, primarily assisting with a new baby and supporting a small daycare. The role has the potential to transition into a full-time position as the family's needs evolve. The caregiver will be responsible for various tasks including light cleaning, cooking, and supporting the daycare's operations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the new baby
- Helping with light cleaning and tidying around the house
- Folding laundry and some cooking
- Stepping in to support the daycare as needed
- Assisting the current teacher in the daycare
Requirements
- Experience with infants/toddlers as a mother, nanny, or in a daycare setting
- Prioritizing children's safety and well-being
- Preparing meals and tidying common areas
- Assisting with hygiene needs and diaper changes
- LiveScan background check and TB test
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
